Winter is upon us, and it’s an opportune time to appreciate how lucky we are with a warm bed and roof over our head. As I speak to a lot of people engaged in some sort of house purchase or sale, it usually becomes apparent just how much “stuff” we have accumulated!
Not all of us are in that fortunate situation however, and in conjunction with some of my Acton colleagues, I would ask that if you have any extra blankets, doonas, sleeping bags, jackets, jumpers, tracksuits or any general winter gear for adults or children, to please give me a call. I’ll happily collect it from you and ensure it is donated to those in need.
